At the state school championship, the C-youth handball players of the Friedrich-Albert-Lange-Sports School achieved a historic success.

For the first time in the history of the city of Solingen, two teams won the title in Gummersbach, thus qualifying for the national final in Berlin.

We, the Solingen-based company “Expo Speed GmbH”, helped ensure that both teams (girls + boys) received the best possible support on site in Berlin. And the result was impressive. The boys returned home with the silver medal and the girls with 4th place.

Both teams were proudly welcomed back to the blade city by principal Peter Wirtz and all students and teachers with a reception committee.

This success was also an occasion for the mayor, Tim Kurzbach, to invite the players, coaches, and those responsible to a reception at the town hall. Mr. Kurzbach congratulated the handball players and coaches on the achieved result and emphasized their role as handball ambassadors and their impact on the Bergisches Land handball region.

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated individual to join our team in the field of trade fair logistics at our Solingen location, as soon as possible.
 
Your area of responsibility:

• Acquisition of new and existing customers
• Preparation of quotations, maintenance of master data, order entry
• You will not only prepare projects/events but also carry them out independently, including customs clearance for truck, sea, or air freight
• Monitoring, follow-up, and invoicing of projects
• Project customer support as well as accompanying projects domestically and abroad

 
What convinces us:

• You are confident in using common MS Office programs, especially Excel.
• You are also willing to travel regularly and hold a valid Class B driving license.
• You stand out through independent, self-responsible work, assertiveness, and teamwork, as well as strong negotiation skills.
• You have knowledge of sea freight and/or air freight, including customs expertise.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional foreign languages are welcome
• Organizational talent and strong communication skills

We are happy to support the GBI (Global Biking Initiative), whose goal is to collect donations for children in need.
The Global Biking Initiative (GBI) is an international network of cyclists. In Germany, the non-profit association “GBI Deutschland e.V.” collects donations, which currently benefit the foundation “RTL – Wir helfen Kindern” (RTL – We Help Children).
This year, as every summer, a large cycling tour from London to Neuss took place once again, during which donations were eagerly collected. A total of 360 cyclists from more than 20 nations took part — a complete success.
